Un-paralleled majestic views of Lake Superior from the over-sized windows that encompass the entire East and South side of the Living room and dining room. Being right on the lake with these views creates an atmosphere of being on an Inland Sea. You experience the many moods of Lake Superior right out your window. The feel of the waves thunder along the rock face right below the deck and windows. It is so incredible to witness the power and blue beauty of our Minnesota treasure - Lake Superior!
DECKS RIGHT AT THE WATER'S EDGE MATTER ...
This 2 story town home boasts some of the best unobstructed views of Lake Superior that you can find. I think you would agree when you want a North Shore vacation right on the lake you want a large enough deck to enjoy the lake! Also, a private deck with no other guests walking in front of your view of the lake. I would say this is our number one selling point of the lake front Windsong town homes!
LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM/KITCHEN
From the minute you enter the large entry way of this end unit town home you are drawn into the atmosphere of a true upscale lodge themed home. It feels warm and welcoming with all the unique décor, and upon entering you are immediately "wowed" by the lake front wall of windows overlooking the waves of Lake Superior glistening before you! You feel you are in for one great vacation!
The living room looks out over beautiful Lake Superior! Enjoy relaxing and looking at the lake or watch the large flat screen TV with Cable. Free Wifi is also available. Enjoy our new gas fireplace after a long day of activities on the shore.
It gets even better…. The dining room area is perfectly situated with windows surrounding it and what a view of the Lake! It makes for a comfortable arrangement for 6 guests.
A walk out patio door flows off the dining room onto a large side deck with gas grill or walks around to the front deck for leisure seating.
KITCHEN
The full size galley kitchen with wet bar makes for great entertaining while cooking. It boasts quartz counter tops and beautiful hickory cabinets. It is fully equipped for the needs of the guests who want to cook. Complete with full size stove, full size frig with ice maker, dish washer, microwave, garbage disposal.
The kitchen is well appointed with the pots and pans and utensils you need to make your meals. We also provide basic spices to aide in cooking your delicious meals. To help with food storage we provide tin foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags. We also provide kitchen towels, paper towels, napkins, and dish/hand/dishwasher soaps. The cupboards are filled with attractive stoneware and glassware that sets a lovely up-north table.
We think we have hit the happy spot with guests needs for the kitchen. Do let us know if we have missed something we love to keep our kitchens fully equipped.
BED AND BATH ACCOMMODATIONS:
Their 1920 sqaure foot home accommodates up to six guests for sleeping in 3 bedrooms figuring two per bed.
MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM
Features a comfortable queen bed with rich linens. This room has been fabulously furnished from the comfortable upholstered chair to the well thought out art display. Split rock art lithographs and other unique colorful art prints. It has a closet, and also main floor bathroom is next to this bedroom. This bathroom is handicapped accessible with additional accessibility equipment, that must be requested before you stay.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE NOTE: Winter months our home is not handicap accessible due to snow and ice on the decks. (Note: 17 stairs to the Upper level)
MASTER SUITE 2ND FLOOR - note jacuzzi was removed and it's a sitting area now
The views of the Lake! The sounds of the waves lulling you to sleep! The same wall of windows you experience downstairs continue in this suite which make it a wonderful place to retire for the evening. So handsomely appointed with décor and all you need for a private oasis on your vacation. This has the special feature of a quiet sitting area by an electric fireplace. This room showcases iconic Old Hickory furniture with comfortable couches to lounge on and a flat screen TV. A private bathroom with shower! Could you ask for any-more! It also hosts a comfortable King Bed with rich linens. You feel pampered in this spectacular suite!
QUEEN SUITE-2ND FLOOR
Also features a comfortable queen bed with rich linens. Lavished with furnishings with rich Old Hickory furniture and woods themed art. It hosts, its own bathroom with shower. So nice to have two private suites while vacationing.
WINDSONG COMMUNITY......
We are part of the Windsong Cottages that are 26 upscale, hand-crafted town homes in a peaceful valley just as you enter Beaver Bay, MN. This is a premier residential town home community that is aesthetically landscaped and well maintained. It is a quiet, friendly residential community and only a few of us rent our homes out to defray some of the costs.
SHARED USE BUILDING
We have a shared use building with a pool and sauna. Pool (open Memorial day to New Year’s Day) while the Sauna is open Year round.

We are private homeowners who offer the luxury of staying on the shore in our upscale vacation home. In turn, we look for guests who are willing to use our home with care and consideration of our residential neighbors.
FANTASTIC LOCATION ---- TIME TO ACTIVITIES
Our vacation home is centrally located just off Minnesota scenic North Shore drive - Highway 61 and is surrounded by some of the premier vacation state park destinations in Minnesota. The closest park being Split Rock Lighthouse which is one of the most visited and photographed lighthouses in the nation! It is hard to beat our location for travelers who want to be centrally located and capture “all” the shore has to offer.
We think you will agree, due to the nature of the shores length, if you are too far northeast or southwest you get trapped into only seeing part of the shore when you visit, but our location meets the need’s of the travelers who wants to see it all. Or, remain in this beautiful section of the shore and enjoy the many premier Minnesota favorite destinations near us.

We are the former owners of "Superior's Edge" a 10-year successful vacation rental home on the North Shore of MN on Lake Superior. Our www.Superioredge.com website we have converted to a listing site for "ONLY" properties that have our "Superior's Edge" stamp of approval on them. Guests will know you will have the same quality of home and stay that you have come to experience staying at "Superior's Edge" these past 10 years.
Why the need for our philosophy of a listing site? As travelers it's hard-to-find consistency in vacation home rentals even if they are listed as a premier property. Our goal is to be a platform where you can connect directly with the owner and cut out all the fees that the mega listing sites have. Also, owners you have full control of your listing and the ability to connect with the guest. Add promotions that you want to give. A that platform takes your direct books payments direct to your account. And a network of owners like you to interact with.
Bob & Barb have now opened "NASHVILLE OASIS" and are renting it out as Mid-Term rental for 31 day stays. At this time, we are not doing short-term rental. We decided to try this avenue as we think it is needed near cities and especially for Retirees such as ourselves. We like to sometimes travel with friends and rent a home for a longer stay and 90% of the places will not let you do that on a monthly basis.
